Target Audience
This F.A.R.M.E manual and CD program were written
in collaboration with many healthcare professionals and agricultural
community leaders, and farm families. The manual is a synthesis
of various principles, occupational medicine, and first aid principles.
The goal of developing this manual is to communicate to healthcare
professionals who want additional information and understanding
about injury risks associated with farming. The uniqueness of this
manual is that it attempts to provide a framework to encourage open
discussion among participants for the need for injury prevention.
